The Sun Country Regional Health Authority has released its 2006-2007 Annual Report outlining the organization's financial statements and program milestones.

According to Ken Adams, the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services, the report shows that the SCRHA is continuing to offer a sustainable, efficient, and quality health system.

However, diabetes, hospitalization due to injuries, tobacco use, and a lack of physical activity remain issues of concern for SCRHA.

Adams says the information gathered will now be used to develop a number of initiatives in the coming year.

The Sun Country Regional Health Authority serves a population of fifty-three thousand people with twenty-eight facilities and seventeen public health programs.
