Four years after his body was found, Geoffrey Alexander's death was announced at the end of 2019 to be considered suspicious by the Estevan police service. More details are still developing with this story as there was not much known at the time of his passing.

Still, the police service considered the death suspicious internally from the very beginning but decided that the end of this year was the proper time to make such an announcement to try and spur anyone who may know something that they have been hiding all these years to come forward. If you do have any information regarding Geoffrey Alexander, you can reach the EPS at (306) 634-4767

1. Birthday Party Turns Nightmare Situation as Child Finds Crystal Meth

Early in the summer, a child's fourth birthday party out at the park. While they were cleaning up, Addison, the young girl in celebrating, found a small little container that looked similar to glitter. She picked it up and played with it and the stuff inside, and as most kids do, she touched her mouth afterward. Soon, she began to feel the effects of what turned out to be methamphetamines, and she was rushed to hospital where police came and healthcare workers did their best to comfort her, her family, and help her through a scary moment.

The bright spot in our most-viewed story of the year is that the situation could have been much worse than it turned out to be. If nothing else, it serves as a reminder to parents and a testament to the fantastic work of both the police and health care workers we have in the southeast to help her and her family through a nightmare situation come to life.
