There's no such thing as an off-week for United Way but with the Day of Caring fast approaching Travis Frank has plenty to coordinate in the next little while. Amidst that, the United Way also announced their goal for the year, an increase of $10,000 from last year to a whopping total of $335,000.

Travis, however, remains confident the United Way can hit that total at their telethon in support of their fifteen member agencies. He joined us on Thursday morning to talk about the Day of Caring, the new goal for the telethon in October, the new Community Impact Application, and a scholarship they'll soon be giving out to high school students.

We wish Travis the best of luck as United Way Estevan President, succeeding our own Patrick Fisher. He's got big shoes to fill and a big goal to meet, but he can do both and we look forward to working with him.
