The Estevan Police Service reported a pair of calls from Tuesday's night shift, including one that is still being investigated.

A report of an unwanted guest brought police to a residence in the Centennial part of the city.

"The subject had left prior to police arriving on scene," said Cst. Danielle Stephany. "However the matter remains under investigation as the subject damaged property and committed a theft prior to leaving."

Stephany said it looks like a doorbell was stolen, and that the complainant is looking to see if anything else was also taken.

The other call was for a noise bylaw violation in central Estevan. The homeowner was warned of the bylaw, and no other police involvement was required.
