Many in British Columbia have had their lives uprooted because of flooding, and southeast Saskatchewan is experiencing some side effects.

Groceries stores are having a tough time getting oranges on their shelves - including the Christmas-favourite mandarins.

A representative at Sobey's in Estevan said they are waiting on mandarins.

And Cam McNabb, the branch manager at Southern Plains Co-op in Oxbow, said they are waiting on oranges to be shipped. He said they are still docked off the coast of Vancouver.

Both Sobey's and the Southern Plains Co-op's Oxbow locations haven't been otherwise affected, at this point, from the flooding in British Columbia. Though various items have been tough to come by since the dawn of the pandemic.
