BABBINGS - Mrs. Marion Babbings passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff, SK. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the age of 89.

Marion's memory will be forever cherished by her son Larry (Myrna); daughter Donna (Jim) Merkley, all of Glen Ewen; grandchildren: Kim (Jay) Carter of Fernie, BC, Cari Merkley, Cameron (Lindsey) Merkley of Calgary, Todd (Clare) Merkley of Edmonton, Kurt (Christine) Merkley of Glen Ewen, Kris Babbings of Kinistino, Michelle (Tom) Avey of Prince Albert, Pamela (Daniel) Bartlett of Glen Ewen; great-grandchildren: Ewan & Sophie Carter, Cooper & Wallace Merkley, Taylor, Marissa & Chase Babbings, Austin & Brady Merkley, Madison & Noah Avey, Eli and Abby Bartlett; son-in-law Bob Merkley; brother-in-law Harold Babbings; cousin Jack MacKenzie; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Marion was predeceased by her husband Leonard; parents Allan and Ida (LaLier) McFadyen; daughter Joan; brother Allan McFadyen; six sisters-in-law: Mildred Corneil, Lorraine, Jeanine, & Lois Babbings, Shirley Millions and Marion McFadyen; two brothers-in-law: Harry Corneil and Munroe Millions; nephew Murray Corneil.

A Celebration of Marion's Life will be held at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff, SK. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Susan Reed officiating. Coffee and cake will be served at the C.E. Hall (St. Andrew's United Church, Carnduff) immediately following the service. The interment will take place at the Glen Ewen Cemetery, Glen Ewen, SK.
