KALLIS

Mrs. Irma Kallis, beloved wife of the late Rhinehart Kallis, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Home - Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the age of 90 years.

Irma leaves to cherish her memory: children, Wayne (Susan), Kenn (Cindy), Darryl (Gloria) and Greg (Glenda); 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; her sister, Elsie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. Along with Rhinehart, Irma was predeceased by her granddaughter, Tammy; parents, Adolf and Albertine; brother, Eric as well as her sisters, Marles, Erna and Inge. Irma immigrated to Canada from Poland at a young age. She married Rhinehart on June 26, 1949 and together they farmed a number of years in Lampman, SK. In 1979, they retired to Estevan, SK., moving to Medicine Hat in April of 2000. She enjoyed living in Park Meadows Estates where her love of flowers was evident through her involvement in the Gardening Club. She enjoyed her walks and visiting with friends, but nothing trumped time spent with her sons. She was very proud of them and they meant the world to her.
