It's been a busy week and change for the Saskota Baseball League, as the teams jockey for the best position for the playoffs.

July 4th saw the Kenosee Cubs edge the Carlyle Cardinals 6-5, while the next day, the Redvers A's got past the Arcola Threshers 8-7 and the Estevan Tap House Wolves beat the Carnduff Astros 6-2. The lone game on the 6th resulted in a tie between the Wolves and Redvers, the first game that didn't end in a victory for the former in quite a while.

The League then took a break until the 10th, where the Wolves finally had their extensive winstreak snapped, 2-0 by the Carlyle Cardinals. That night the Carnduff Astros came up 10-4 over the Windthorst Pirates, the Kenosee Cubs and Redvers A's were unable to finish nine innings due to weather and so settled for a 9-all tie, and the Oxbow Chiefs defeated the Arcola Threshers 8-6.

One game on the 11th of July had the Threshers sneak by the Kipling Royals 5-4. The Royals then lost their eighth in a row on Thursday, 12-4 to the Kenosee Cubs, while the Carnduff Astros shutout the Southeast Fireballs 7-0, Redvers hammered Windthorst 13-6 and the Oxbow Chiefs found the 3-2 win over the Carlyle Cardinals.

Saskota Baseball action takes a break until Sunday, when Redvers heads to Kipling, Carnduff takes on Windthorst, Kenosee goes against Southeast twice, and Carnduff and Kipling then go at each other.
