The lone mid week game in the Big Six Hockey League saw the Oxbow Huskies playing host to the Redvers Rockets, and both teams would not trade off goals at all. Everything would be scored in two streaks.

Mike Dalton started the scoring off for Oxbow only a minute-sixteen into the game, putting the home team up early. Then, Thomas Bauche would let another get passed him and into the Rocket's net when Levi Barnstable's shot found it's way in.

That would be all the scoring in the first period, and almost all the scoring for the Huskies. The last goal for the Huskies would come early in the second, when Derek Cooney scored with an assist from Taysen Holt for his twentieth of the season.

From there, nets would seal up shut for the next seven minutes before Redvers would start their comeback attempt. Kevin Mann would start it off right at the 11:00 minute mark, and Kenton Miller would add another of his own moments later. Then with :24 showing in the period, Kelsey Kenler would tie things up between the Rockets and the Huskies to end the second period.

By the time the third came, the scoring would continue for the Rockets and they would take control of the game. Another three goal period with tallies from Brady Gaudet, Remi Lamotte, and a second from team leading Kenton Miller would seal things up for last year's league champions.

FINAL SCORE: 6-3 Redvers

Taysen Holt's lone assist keeps him a point behind Ben Johnstone of the Carlyle Cougars for the league lead in points, while Kenton Miller's two goals put him in a tie for fourth in the league at 15 points.

Thomas Bauche of the Rocket's sits in third in the league when it comes to goaltending numbers. His Goals-Against-Average has him at 2.80 per game, behind Cody Dumaine of Carnduff and Tanner Erickson of Yellow Grass.

Next games in the league go on Friday, including a broadcast on CJ1150 between the Kipling/Windthorst Oil Kings and the Bienfait Coalers.
