It was close, but ultimately the Midget AA Bruins were unable to top the Weyburn Wings in the enemy barn Wednesday night.

The game remained scoreless throughout the first period. Weyburn broke the ice midway through the second to take a 1-0 lead, only to be relinquished a few minutes later when Chase Gedak and Trey Stovin set up Dalton Schrader for a goal to tie it up.

The Wings managed one more in the third frame to seal at 2-1 victory over the Bruins.
