The Midget AA Estevan Apex Bruins high powered offense was held scoreless on Wednesday night in Weyburn.

After a blank first period, Weyburn would strike twice in under two minutes, with their second goal coming on the power-play.

Weyburn would ice the game in the third period, adding to their lead to take the win 3-0 over Estevan.

Following Wednesday's game, Estevan and Weyburn now sit tied in second place with 44 points a piece, while Weyburn does hold three games in hand. It was only the second time in 33 games that the Bruins were shutout, as their league leading 153 goals for makes them a threat to strike at any time.

Next up for the Apex Bruins is a three game home stand to end off the season, starting this weekend with the Regina Vics on Saturday and the rematch with Weyburn on Sunday. On Friday, February 16th, the Bruins will close out the season when they host the Notre Dame Argos.
