No matter where you go in southeast Saskatchewan, racing seems to be a part of the fabric that makes these small towns what they are. With that said, it's no different in Bienfait.

For the second straight year, Bienfait's Ashley Wilson was recently crowned as the winner of the Junior Dragster Points Championship in Minot North Dakota.

Taking part in eight or nine races throughout the summer, it is definitely a family affair. Ashley is a part of the Dean and Daughters Racing Team that includes her two sisters Amanda and Megan, along with their father Dean.

"She definitely finished up her junior dragster run on a positive note," explained Ashley's mom Marnie. "She's going to be moving up into a truck that her and her dad are working on over the winter. She will start to race against the big cars next year."

Their youngest daughter Megan finished third in points this year, Amanda finished eighth in points for racing in Top ET, while their father Dean was right around eighth as well.

"It's what we do in the summers, it's our family thing to do," Marnie concluded.
