The TS&M Bantam Bruins came out of their weekend wanting more results after a pair of losses to two different teams.

On Saturday, they hit the road to Regina where they took on the Aces. Kaden Chrest scored the first goal of the game, tied up three minutes later by Regina. The Aces added another to take a 2-1 lead by the end of the first frame.

Dylan Mayer added another one to the scoreboard for Regina to start the second, before Mason Kukura and Kaden Chrest tied it up at 3 at the end of the period.

For the first half of the third frame, the Bruins hung close. Regina pulled ahead on a power play, but it wasn't long before James Mann netted a puck off an Estevan power play. The Aces would score once again, and Mann added his second of the night to keep the game tied. However, Carter Briltz got the puck on his stick for Regina and sunk Estevan with a pair of goals before an empty netter. The Bruins fell 8-5 to the Aces.

Sunday saw the Black and Gold head to Balgonie to face the Prairie Storm. This time, the home team held a 2-0 lead into the second period, which would remain scoreless. Despite a James Mann goal in the third frame on a power play, the Bruins fell 2-1 to complete their weekend 0-2.

The Bantam Bruins are in fifth place in their division, with a 7-7-1 record.
