It was the experience of a life time on Saturday, April 28, for 18-year-old lacrosse goaltender Teanna Sieben.

The Bienfait product received the call to join the National Lacrosse League's Saskatchewan Rush for the day, and took part in morning shoot-around, warm-up and was introduced in the Rush starting line up.

Currently, Sieben plays for the Estevan Big Dog Junior Lacrosse team. One can only imagine the thrill Sieben had on Saturday night in Saskatoon.

“This opportunity is more than I could have ever imagined, a dream come true," Sieben told saskrush.com before the game. "Can’t wait to meet the Rush team and be part of such a great experience, it’s such an honour."

According to the Rush website, the team was thrilled to have Sieben around, which includes Rush Head Coach, Derek Kennan.

“After her time with the team tomorrow, perhaps Teanna will one day be a starting goalie for the Saskatchewan Rush. We can’t wait to have her on the floor with everyone, I hear that she is one heck of a goalie,” said Rush Head Coach and GM, Keenan. “It’s going to be a great time, for sure.”

In their final regular season game, the Rush defeated the Calgary Roughnecks, 11-10.
