The Rockets led 1-0 after the 1st period and continued to lead by a goal after 40 minutes. Bienfait's offence never found it's footing on home ice, and the Rockets chipped in two more insurance goals in the 3rd period to seal a 3-0 victory.

Bienfait was without a pair of key players due to suspension on Friday. Kyle Garagan served the second of a two-game suspension in Game 2, while blueliner Preston Erickson served the first game of his series-long suspension. Erickson was issued his second 'Major Checking-To-The-Head' penalty of the season following a hit in Game 1 on Redvers captain Jordon Miller. Erickson will be suspended for the rest of the series and will be eligible to return for either the Big Six championship or for the first game next season.

The Rockets will have an opportunity to close out the series on Sunday night when they host Bienfait at 6pm at the Redvers Rec Centre. The game will be broadcast on CJ1150 and DiscoverEstevan.com.
