Power Dodge Estevan Bruins goalie Bo Didur has been named Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League goaltender of the week.

Acquired in November, Didur has posted impressive numbers since joining the Bruins with four wins in his first five games. The 20-year old from West Vancouver has stopped 135 of 144 shots, on his way to a 1.80 goals against average and .938 save percentage, including one shut-out.

"He's steady, he came back from the Christmas break ready to play," Bruins Head Coach and General Manager, Chris Lewgood said of Didur's play. "He's eager, it's his last stretch run of a long junior career and there's one thing he hasn't accomplished, he's here to do his share to make sure we do everything we can to get that, and that's a Junior 'A' league championship. He's focused and has proved that in these last two games."

In those last two games, Didur backstopped the Bruins to a pair of crucial wins over their Viterra division rival Weyburn Redwings, to give the Bruins a six point lead at the top of the division.

Didur and the Bruins return to home ice on Friday, January 5th, for a date with the Melfort Mustangs.
