The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins have been road warriors all season long.

And in their first road test of the 2017 playoffs, the Bruins kept it going with a comeback victory in Game 2 of their quarterfinal series against the Yorkton Terriers.

Michael McChesney scored the game-winner with 1:48 left in regulation and Jason Miller added an empty net goal for the 5-3 victory for the Bruins, who now lead the Best-of-7 series (2-0).

HIGHLIGHTS:

After a 2-1 overtime victory in Game 1, the Bruins got off to a perfect start on the road by scoring on their first shift of the game. With Miller driving hard to the net, Jake Fletcher cut to the slot and fired a quick shot past the pad of Terriers' goaltender Nathan Hargrave to make it 1-0 just :48 seconds into the game.

However, Yorkton would quickly strike back with two goals in the next four minutes to leap ahead 2-1.

The Bruins' would even the score before the intermission off a great shot from their regular season leading scorer.

Matt McNeil Ties The Game With 30 Seconds Left In The 1st Period.

Kaelan Holt neatly entered the offensive zone and sent a pass to Matt McNeil down the right wing. McNeil took the puck in down low and almost out of scoring position, but the forward was able to unleash a wicked snapshot top corner to tie the game at 2-2 after the 1st period.

Yorkton regained the lead when Jared Legien scored on the powerplay minutes into the 2nd period to go up 3-2, a lead they would hold into the 3rd period.

The Bruins came out in the final frame focused and determined to send the series back to Estevan with a (2-0) lead.

Just over six minutes into the period, Jason Miller went to the front of the net and beautifully deflected a point shot from Johnny Witzke past Hargrave to tie the game 3-3.

Estevan applied relentless pressure for the rest of the game, controlling the play and taking over all momentum.

It would eventually pay off in the final minutes thanks once again to the line of Zach Goberis, Jayden Davis and Michael McChesney. The puck would be cycled behind the net where Davis sent a pass out front to McChesney, who made no mistake and put the Bruins ahead 4-3 with 1:54 left to play.
