The Peewee AA Estevan Westmoreland Bruins have gone 1-2-0 to start the season in the South Saskatchewan Minor Hockey League. The Bruins hosted their home tournament last weekend where they went 2-2 and lost in the B-Final, 7-0 to the Weyburn Wings who they'll see twice this weekend. Weyburn has yet to lost in regulation with a record of 4-0-1.

The Bantam Bruins return to regular season action after spending last weekend at the Graham Tuer Challenge in Regina where the team lost 6-1 to West Central in the C-Semifinal. So far this season, the Bruins sit at 1-5-1 heading into a weekend where they will take on a pair of teams who are also middling in the standings.

The Midget Bruins recently found their footing and rattled off two straight wins after starting off the year 0-4-2. Both the Prairie Storm and Millionaires have similar records heading into this weekends games and presents the Bruins with an opportunity to get to the .500 mark for the first time this season.
