The date for City Wide Registration is quickly approaching, and many organizations are looking forward to getting a good start to recruitment as well as the rest of their season.

This includes Estevan Minor Baseball, and according to President Ryan Siever, their bats will start to swing in about a month.

"We're planning to get started on the season for April 30th. We're hoping to have a little bit of an indoor session around April 21st or 22nd, something like that if we can. We've had great numbers these last number of years, and it seems to be increasing in a positive direction, so we'd like to see that trend continue."

One major focus for the program in the upcoming year will be the changeover to the DQ Rally Cap program. However, Siever said that parents in the line at City Wide won't notice much difference.

"The registration form kind of has everything set out there for people to go through," he noted, adding that it's common for many people to simply drop off forms they'd filled out earlier, printed off the EMB website.

The information for upcoming umpire clinics will also potentially be available at the table as well, with dates sometime in April, though nothing is set in stone yet.
