Another season in the Big 6 Hockey League is set to get underway on Friday night with a pair games hitting the rinks in south east Saskatchewan.

Arcola/Kisbey Combines @ Carlyle Cougars 8:00 - Carlyle Sports Arena

The Arcola/Kisbey Combines make their return to the league in Carlyle tonight after a one year hiatus. The highway 13 rivalry will be renewed when the puck drops inside the Carlyle Sports Arena at 8:00 p.m. The game can be heard on CJ1150 with the pregame show starting shortly before 8. Yellow Grass Wheat Kings @ Oxbow Huskies 8:00 - Oxbow Arena

In the second game on Friday, the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings make the trip south to play the Oxbow Huskies. The Wheat Kings who enter their second season in the league, will look to make some more noise after making it to the league finals in the inaugural season. The Huskies will look to get off on the right foot this year after being swept in the playoffs last season.
