The Estevan Curling Club held another drop-in night on Friday and by all accounts, it was a great success. We talked with Club manager Pauline Ziehl-Grimsrud to fill us in on how the night played out.

"We had a nice little evening very successful, we had people come in with their grandkids and their kids, we had some new curlers come in with some of our membership to learn how to play the game. We had some of the spouses of some of our members come down and throw for the first time so that was really nice, we had the bar open and chili on a bun night and that went over well. We are really pleased with the evening and we plan on having another drop-in evening on March 15th so please mark your calendars and that night we are actually going to have a steak night so we're kinda excited about putting that on too.

Grimsrud went on to wish Team Green from the ECS well on their upcoming regionals in Yorkton.

"This coming weekend we want to wish Team Green some luck with there upcoming regionals in Yorkton they will be playing Friday and Saturday and hopefully they have a good showing and move on to provincials from there."

If you're looking to pick up the sport of curling they are holding another drop-in night on March 15th at 7pm at the curling club it's an informal evening and if you don't have any curling gear they can supply you with what you need.
