Seven mens and eight womens teams will throw rocks today in Affinity Place to determine who will advance to the next round of qualifying for the Olympics, and it all starts today.

It's familiar territory for Team Dunstone and skip Matt Dunstone, who won the Sasktel Tankard with Team Laycock in Feburary.

"We're feeling good. We're getting pretty excited. It's cool being back here, right where we won our provincial championship so I'm just kind of soaking it all in again. It's going to be the start of a great week and it's going to be a good test early on, we're going to have to be sharp."

The trial he refers to would be the first draw of the event, in which Dunstone takes on the renowned Brad Gushue and company at 9:00 AM.

"Anybody who plays Gushue doesn't really have an edge...we just have to go out and play some of our best curling."

Dunstone added that a reunion with Affinity Place won't be a drawback, by any means.

"Not an edge, just a sense of familiarity which nobody else in the field is going to have. It's easy to find my routine coming in the building, I know exactly where I've got to go and everything, so I feel pretty comfortable in here already."
