Part 2 of the Co-op Challenge Series was this evening at the Estevan Comprehensive High School. The Senior Girls Volleyball teams began at 5:30 pm and had a great game. The ECS Elects came close, but unfortunately lost all three sets, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-19. Nicole Rogalski, "We didn't win any of our sets and I couldn't ask them to play any better. Weyburn is a tough team, they are better than us and that isn't a bad thing. They give us good competition. We came out strong and we finished strong, so I'm very happy with how they played."

"It's definitely tough and I think that's where we dropped last week in Weyburn on our first set. It's hard to pick up out of that, knowing how good they are. I think the girls came out super excited, the hometown crowd really helped them. All of the energy they felt and they came out positive and excited but focused. I think that really helped them get a few more points then we might have."

This Weekend the Elecs will be headed to Obow for another tournament.

The ECS Elecs Senior Boys Volleyball Team dominated the court once again today after their win this past weekend in their home tournament. Although Weyburn Eagles gave a good fight the Elecs were on fire once again winning all three sets 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.

Coach Nathan Johnson, "we didn't prepare very well because that start wasn't what we wanted, being down 21-16. They were serving us tough, putting us in trouble and we didn't react very well. We finished with a 9 point set in that first set, coming back from 21-16 to win 25-21 was absolutely huge. I think we got the ball rolling at that point. We come at other teams 6 strong at the service line and it's not many years we can say we have 6 tough servers and that's what makes us so competitive this year. We are able to put the other team in trouble and consitiantly come at them."
"It was an awesome atmosphere. Having the musical kids here to sing Oh Canada and also having the Cheerleaders to cheer the team on. That's the reason we do this, it's absolutely awesome for both of our schools and it's something we want to keep going for years to come."
