The ECS Elecs Football team was proud to host their first playoff game in 8 years on Friday night and were overjoyed to have won the game as well.

"It’s great to get a home playoff win," shared Head Coach Mark Schott. "We played really well, it was a lot tougher than our first game of the season against them but it’s a great feeling and the team played well."

The Elecs defeated the Moose Jaw Vanier Vikings 32-19.

"We had a 66-yard punt in the first half so that was pretty impressive. Our quarterback, Kaleb Bechtold, ran for a 60-yard touchdown. Hunter Eagles had a kick off return for a touchdown to open the second half so that was a huge turning point in the game, and it really grabbed a lot of the momentum back for us."

The Elecs look forward to playing again next weekend.
