Football doesn't necessarily have to be about winning; it can be about bettering oneself, and pushing to do your best.

For the Estevan Elecs football squad, they haven't yet pulled out a win this season. However, every game sees them put up a harder fight, giving their opponents a run for their money.

Most recently they took the field against the Central Cyclones, and were edged out 38-28. While no 'W' resulted, Head Coach Mark Schott noted that there was plenty of improvement.

"We gave up a lot of points at the start of the game, but came out strong in the second half. It led to an exciting finish, unfortunately we came up just short."

"The Elecs were led by Tristian Sorensen on defense with three interceptions, and Rylan Erdegan and Hunter Eagles had big games on the offense."

Up next for the team is Swift Current, who will host Estevan on Tuesday, October 10th.
