The ECS Elecs Senior Boys Volleyball team hosted their home tournament this past weekend at the comp.

Although their games didn't quite go as planned, coach Kevin Perkins still liked the effort.

"We had a pretty good tournament despite missing a few players. We had a brand new setter that came in and played well. We only lost to the eventual tournament winners in Weyburn."

Tournament results

Weyburn wins over ECS 14-25, 25-15, 7-15

ECS wins over Moose Jaw Peacock 25-10, 25-19

ECS wins over Melville 25-20, 25-27, 15-12

ECS wins over Wawota 25-16, 25-16

The boys would go on to lose two straight sets in their quarterfinal match up against Oxbow.

Coming up on November 3rd and 4th is the boys final invitational tournament in Yorkton, before a big weekend at regional's in Swift Current.

"We need to get all of our players back and really gel as a team again. We've got them all back for Yorkton this coming weekend and I think we need to really get together and figure it out. It's going to be tough at regional's as well, we need to get third place or better with four teams battling for three spots."

As coach Kevin Perkins explained, the boys will be looking to get on the right track this coming weekend in Yorkton.
