On a team that is dominating the country in it's performance so far in the hockey season, sit two players that got their career start in Estevan.

Cole Fonstad and Brayden Pachal, both former Estevan Bruins, have been racking up the points with the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders (15-1-0) in their first 16 games or so this year. Fonstad has five goals and eight assists, and Pachal, a goal and also eight assists.

These, along with solid play from the rest of their teammates in the green jerseys, has placed the Raiders in the number one spot in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) rankings for the third straight week. PA has only lost one game so far out of 16, putting them on a realistic track to chase down their first Memorial Cup championship since 1985, over thirty years ago.

The pair have also received attention from professional leagues. 18 year old Fonstad was drafted earlier this year by the Montreal Canadiens and 19 year old Pachal has spent the majority of his off season as an invitee at various Calgary Flames camps. The latter was also named this year's Captain of the dangerous Raiders squad.
