The Estevan Motor Speedway will see action on Saturday, April 29 as drivers have the opportunity to participate in the annual Test N Tune Day. The day serves as an informal day to prepare before the season starts on May 6.

"Basically, Test and Tune is when we make sure everything works," Race Day Coordinator, Angel Boxell explains. "We make sure our system is working. Between Test N Tune and Season Opener, it gives the drivers time to fix things. It's easier to spend the whole day at the track and try and fix something. And it gives them a chance to actually drive their car."

The regular season begins the next weekend and the schedule is full of many exciting and different races.

"June 17 is Kids Night," says Boxell. "It's always awesome and fun. Kids love coming out and doing all the games. We always have a dunk tank."

"July 1, we have a Tougher Than Dirt Tour coming through. July 10 is the Dakota Classic Mod Tour. Last year it got cancelled because we got rained out. The track out there looked like a bowl of soup. Everyone was looking forward to it last year, so fingers crossed for this year."

"July is a busy month. After July 10, we have our dirt wars. It's a double header and it's awesome. People come from all over like Edmonton, Winnipeg, and from the States."
