19 members from the Estevan Sharks Water Polo Club will be heading to Edmonton in May, to represent the Under-14 Prairie teams at the National Championship League's Western Canadian Finals.

In Regina this past weekend, the Prairie girls swam to improve their record to a league best, 10-2, while the Prairie boys also finished in the top spot with their record of 8-3.

The Saskitas, which features younger players from Regina, Estevan and Weyburn, won their two games against Team Manitoba but lost against the Armada and Prairie team.

Estevan's Taeghen Hack also traveled to Surrey, BC this past weekend to compete with the Under-19 Women's team. The girls opened up the weekend with a 12-9 loss to the Pacific Storm and followed that up with a 19-8 win over the Calgary Renegades, where Hack scored four goals. After a loss to Fraser Valley and win over the Edmonton Tsunami, Hack scored her fifth goal of the tournament in a 9-8 loss to Fraser Valley.
