The Estevan Sharks Water Polo Club was out in Regina over the weekend competing in tournaments and game out with great success. 

Here are the results from the weekend.

They sent 3 Bantam and 2 Cadet teams to tournaments in Regina over the weekend. On Saturday, the Cadet girl’s team finished with a 3-1-1 record.

Sisters Alex and Josie Andrist lead the team, as the only 2 Cadet girls from Estevan. They were joined by Bantam Sharks Sadie Smith, Hailey Tangjerd, Prysm Gooding and Lily Knoll.

The team also welcomed 2 cadets from Saskatoon to round out the team. 

The Cadet boys team played 5 high-paced, close games, but didn’t manage to get a W. Cadet age players Tristan and Nathan Thrienen, Logan Dalziel and Lyndon Sauder were strong throughout the day. They were joined by Bantam Sharks Dierks Milford, Jace Carritt and Shiven Sangar. 

The Bantam teams hit the pool on Sunday. The Sharks entered 2 boys teams. Hammerhead team lost the first 3 games but finished strong with a hard-fought win over Weyburn Tornados.

The Hammerhead roster had Bantam Sharks Lucas Dzyerk and Shiven Sangar, Atom Sharks Bennett Walliser and Brooks Milford, as well as two Saskatoon teammates.

The Mako Shark team also finished with a 1 and 3 record. With their win coming against the Weyburn Hurricanes.

Atom player, Brody Turner, and 2 Saskatoon players joined Bantam teammates Dierks Milford, Casey Olney and Jace Carritt to make the team.

In the Bantam girls division, the Sharks won 3 and tied one. They had a full team with 7 Bantam age Sharks, and they added Atom girls Rachel Tober and Mahlyn Bomberak.

The next action for the Sharks will be in Saskatoon at Winter Provincials  Dec 6-8.
