Estevan Minor Box Lacrosse united all teams under the 'Voltz' name near the end of 2017.

And now, they have a new logo thanks to submissions they received from the public. According to Estevan Minor Box Lacrosse President Mark Seeman, they combined a few entries into one.

"We're all under one name now with our new team logo out," explained Seeman.

"We let the contest go during the Christmas season and we got all the nominations rounded up and we couldn't decide on one so we chose three and combined them."

Along with the announcement of a new name and logo, Estevan Minor Box Lacrosse is now a part of a new league starting in 2018.

"We're part of the South Sask Lacrosse League now with Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Weyburn and Regina. It's good to get those skills out there because if you're only playing one or two associations it doesn't help the development," he concluded.
