The Montreal Canadiens have made a move with Carlyle's Cale Fleury, however, the jury's still out on his final destination for the year.

Over the weekend the team announced that the 19 year old defender was among those released from main camp, and he was assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Laval Rockets.

That being said, he has yet to sign a contract, meaning that his future out east is still a bit uncertain. Depending on Laval's main camp outcome, Fleury could end up returning to the WHL's Regina Pats for another season.

Meanwhile, Oxbow's Tanner Jeannot wrapped up main camp with the Nashville Predators, and was assigned to their affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. Earlier in 2018, Jeannot signed an entry level contract with the Predators.
