For the second time this season, a goaltender for the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins has been awarded weekly honours from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).

Rookie goaltender Curtis Meger (18) has been named the SJHL Goalie of the Week, despite only making one start.

Meger put in a sterling performance last Wednesday, making 36 saves en route to his second shutout of the season in a BRUINS 3-0 WIN OVER MELVILLE.

Both Meger and battery-mate Nathan Alalouf (20) have been given the award this season, with Alalouf earning the honour at the end of November.

The Bruins get back on the ice this Friday, January 20th when they host the Humboldt Broncos to kick off a six-game homestand at Affinity Place.
