It'll be a confident Midget AA Bruins team heading into their regular season.

Two wins over the Weyburn Wings, 8-1 on the road and then 4-2 Tuesday night in Affinity Place, gives them a perfect preseason run.

"We've got everything set here now. I think we've got a pretty deep group of forwards, and a deep group of D-men as well. From the back end out, we're happy wit how we're sitting right now," said Head Coach Riley Hengen.

He noted that a couple surprises were seen through out their exhibition season, but for the most part, they saw what they expected to see.

"We had one rookie line that was playing together throughout camp kind of impress us, the way they all gelled together...we knew that there were some good guys coming into camp, and they didn't disappoint. We were hoping for a solid team, and I think that's what we came out with here."

The Midget Bruins open up their regular season September 29 at home, welcoming the Notre Dame Argos.
