As Major League Baseball players enter their second week of spring training, Estevan Minor Baseball continues to follow suit and hold their own spring clinics on Tuesday's and Thursday's.

According to Estevan Minor Baseball's High Performance Director, Blaine Kovach, they've been gaining traction since holding their first clinic at the beginning of February.
"On our mosquito-pee wee side wow, they're coming out in droves, we've been able to get over 20 kids per session which has been great to see," Kovach said. "Our bantam-midget side, a lot of those guys are still playing hockey but we've been getting around 10 kids every session."

Every Tuesday in the multi-purpose room at Affinity Place features bantam and midget aged players, while clinics on Thursday see the mosquito and pee wee age group.

In just over a months time, Kovach and the rest of his coaching staff for the Midget AAA South East Twins will hold tryouts, and pick their team for the upcoming season in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League.
