The Pee Wee AA Estevan Westmoreland Bruins dropped a pair of games over the weekend, losing to the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday that saw the Bruins erase a 3-0 defecit with goals from Ty Hoste, Tate Kasick and Macade Ochitwa. Swift Current would score three in the third period to seal the 6-3 win. On Sunday against the Melville Millionaires, Macade Ochitwa and Emmett McCarthy would give the Bruins a 2-1 lead after the first period. Melville would score four unanswered, while Tate Kasick would add a late goal for the Bruins. The goal wouldn't be enough as the Bruins fell 5-3 to the Millionaires.

On Saturday, the Pee Wee Estevan Bear Cats tied their game at 1-1 with the Southwest Cyclones on a goal from Lauren Hassler. The Cyclones would add one more and Sadie Keller would go on to score five straight goals to give Southwest the 7-1 victory. The Cyclones would jump out to a 3-0 lead during their game on Sunday but the Bear Cats would claw their way back, scoring four straight goals from Lauren Hassler, two from Morgan Kjersem and one from Madison Hack. Taking a 4-3 lead into the third period, the Cyclones would add one in the final frame to end the game tied at 4-4.

Bantam

The Regina Bisons took a 3-1 lead over the Bantam Bear Cats on Saturday with Kassidy Johnson picking up the first period goal for Estevan. Kiley Davis and Kamri Olfert tied the game at 3-3 with both goals coming on the power play in the second period. Regina would score a pair to open the third period before Hanna Jaworski would get the Bear Cats within one, but it wouldn't be enough as the Bisons would add a short handed goal to take the 6-4 win. The bantam Bear Cats were looking to bounce back on Sunday against the Bisons and that's exactly what they did. Karissa Elliot and Caydence Chapman would open the scoring before Regina would cut the lead in half at 2-1. Kassidy Johnson would round out the scoring for Estevan with a pair of unassisted goals to give the Bear Cats a 4-1 win.

Midget

The Midget AA Estevan Bear Cats managed to pick up a pair of wins over the weekend starting at home on Friday night with a 5-2 win over the Notre Dame Hounds. The Bear Cats hit the road on Sunday afternoon to play the Parkland Lions in a game that saw Estevan's Marci Leblanc notch five goals in the 7-1 victory. Makenna Morrison and Kayla Wanner added one each to round out the scoring.

The Midget AA Estevan Apex Bruins continued to stay hot over the weekend starting on Friday night with a big statement win over the Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox. Zach Ashworth, Terran Holzer, Joey Meredith, Kyler Gervais, Cale Adams and Carson Benning would give the Bruins a 6-0 lead. The Hounds would add one before the end of the second to cut into the Bruins lead. Carson Benning would extend the Bruins lead in the third period adding his second of the game to give Estevan a 7-1 win.

For the first time in six games, the Bruins would lose on Saturday to the Regina Rangers. Estevan would make things interesting after the Rangers took a 3-0 lead into the second period. Dalton Schrader and Jaiden Gervais would get the Bruins with one, but Regina would add three more to take the 6-2 win.

The Bruins came out in Sunday's rematch with authority. Josh Romanyk, Dawson Schaff and Kieran Stewart would give the Bruins an early 3-0 lead. The Rangers would add one in the second before Terran Holzer and Cale Adams would extend the Bruins lead to 5-1. With no scoring in the final period, Estevan went on to win their seventh game in the last eight, after coming out of the gate win-less in their first six.
