Estevan resident and current Prince Albert Raiders Defenceman Brayden Pachal was recently named an alternate captain for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Pachal who played his minor hockey in Estevan, suited up for the Bantam AA Bruins from 2012-2014 before making the jump to the Moose Jaw Generals. That season he cracked the line up in three regular season and three playoff games with the Estevan Bruins. He spent 2015-2016 with the Victoria Royals before getting dealt to the Prince Albert Raiders this past season, where he put up 15 points in 65 games between Victoria and Prince Albert.
