It's the end of another season for the Estevan Peewee Chargers on the football field. They finish with a 0-6 record in seventh place of seven teams.

"We had a great amount of improvement from the beginning of the season to the end, which is really a good focus in minor sports in general, the kids learning how the game is played and just improving as a team," stated Head Coach Jason Bresciani.

"The defense played pretty solid all year. We had a couple guys that really stood out, one of our defensive linemen got pretty much every stat you could get as a player except an interception. He had a lot of tackles for losses, sacks and pressures, anything like that. Our linebacking crew played phenomenal, a couple of them were involved in a lot of the tackles or chasedowns. Another highlight would be one of our linebackers with a 60-some yard interception for a touchdown."

"On the offensive side of things, we started to click. We had a few guys rolling in and out of the quarterback position, and they all brought something different. The running backs played well, the linemen did amazing, opening holes and by the end of the year we started moving the football. We did get a 40-some yard touchdown this year, so that's another highlight. Other than that, we played well together as a team," said Bresciani.

At least 7 of his players move on to the bantam level next year, which leaves an experience crew returning for another season.
