After a bit of a hiatus, the Estevan Peewee AAA Tornadoes returned to the diamond this past weekend as they hit the road to Regina, facing the Pacers in a doubleheader. They took the first game 5-3, then fell 10-5 in the second.

"In game one, things looked fairly well. It's been almost three weeks since we last played, at the Legasse tournament. They looked a little bit rusty, but they played well," said Head Coach Ryan Siever.

He pointed to some solid pitching and some good defense, enabling them to hold their own.

The Tornados take on the Weyburn Beavers on Wednesday in Cactus Park.
