The Midget A Estevan Bruins are moving on to round two of provincial playoffs after beating the Indian Head Chiefs in two straight games.

Game one on home ice saw the Bruins take a 6-4 victory after finding themselves down 3-0 in the second period. They would go on to score four in the second, before adding two more in the third.

In game two on Tuesday night, the two clubs skated to a scoreless first period. It was in the second where things came alive when the Bruins found the back of the net five times with Indian Head adding a single.

The Bruins and Chiefs would exchange goals in the third period, and the Bruins would take the win 6-2, and the overall series 12-6.

Estevan now awaits the winner of Arcola-Lampman and Prairie Storm.
