In a move that doesn’t come as a shock after Wednesday’s trade to add quarterback Zach Collaros, the Saskatchewan Roughriders announced on Thursday morning that they have released veteran pivot Kevin Glenn.

The 38-year-old quarterback appeared in 17 games for the Riders during the 2017 season, finishing with 4,038 yards, 25 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

This was Glenn’s third stint with the Riders after he signed with the team during last offseason.

Saskatchewan had six quarterbacks under contract for next season after trading for Collaros in a deal with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Wednesday.

CFL Free Agency opens on Feb. 13.
