A mid-week game saw the Southeast AAA Twins struggle to find their niche as they battled to a 5-2 conclusion with the Regina White Sox.

"It was a close game, up until the last few innings. We had tons of opportunities to take the lead, and we just couldn't get those timely hits. We had lots of guys on base, and we left them on base without scoring. That shot us in the foot, that was the big issue," shared Head Coach Blaine Kovach.

"Guys are starting to learn now that if you don't score your base runners, you're not going to win ball games."

As the Twins prepare to face the Regina Athletics on Saturday, Kovach noted that they'll focus on keeping the pitching consistent and improving their batting skills.
