A full slate of games will take over rinks in south east Saskatchewan during the weekend in the Big Six Hockey League starting with two on Friday night.

Friday, November 10th

Redvers Rockets @ Oxbow Huskies 8:00 - Oxbow Arena

Both the (1-1-0)Huskies and the (0-1-0)Rockets are coming off of losses this week. Oxbow kicked off their season last weekend with an 8-7 win over the Yellow Grass Wheat kings and followed that up with a trip to Bienfait, which ended up with the Coalers putting on a show in their home opener, beating the Huskies 16-3. Redvers lost their home opener on Wednesday, when the Carlyle Cougars came in and took a 5-1 win from the Rockets. A lot will be on the line in Oxbow with both teams looking to bounce back.


Midale Mustangs @ Wawota Flyers 8:00 - Wawota Community Forum

The defending champion Wawota Flyers host the Midale Mustangs on Friday night, in what will be the first game of the year for both clubs.

Saturday, November 11th

Yellow Grass Wheat Kings @ Midale Mustangs 8:00 - Midale Harry O. Memorial Arena

The (0-1-0)Wheat Kings enter Saturday night's game against the (0-0-0)Mustangs coming off of a disapointing 8-7 loss during opening weekend. For Midale, it will be their second game in as many nights as they'll return to home ice on Saturday after traveling to play the defending champs on Friday.


Oxbow Huskies @ Arcola/Kisbey Combines 8:00 - Prairie Place Complex

After getting shut out in their return to the Big Six Hockey League, the Arcola/Kisbey Combines return to home ice on Saturday night looking to make a statement in front of their home crowd. The Huskies will make the trip to the Prairie Place Complex after hosting the Redvers Rockets on Friday night.


 

Bienfait Coalers @ Carnduff Red Devils 8:00 - Carnduff Fast Trucking Centennial Arena

Both the Red Devils and Coalers have yet to lose in the young season and will clash on Saturday night in Carnduff, in what's shaping up to be a game to keep an eye on. Bienfait poured on the offense during their 16-3 win over Oxbow during the week, while Carnduff picked up wins over Carlyle and Redvers putting up 12 goals of their own in the two victories.

Sunday, November 12th

Carlyle Cougars @ Bienfait Coalers 7:00 - Bienfait Memorial Arena

Bienfait will be coming off of a tough game having played on Saturday night in Carnduff, while the Carlyle Cougars will go into Sunday's contest with fresh legs having eight days off in between games.


Yellow Grass Wheat Kings @ Wawota Flyers 7:30 - Wawota Community Forum

Both the Wheat Kings and Flyers head into Sunday's match up having played one game each over the weekend with Wawota looking to take advantage of Yellow Grass playing on back to back nights.
