Coming off a 1-4 long weekend, the Southeast A's regrouped and returned to the basics. Their effort paid off on Tuesday as they visited the Weyburn Beavers, walking away with a 7-0 victory in hand.

"After our weekend games, we had a big meeting and went over quite a few things, made sure that everyone got straightened out. In the game last night, the pitching was great, we played solid defense, and we scored runners. Those were the three things that we needed to work on, and that's what all came together," stated Head Coach Trent Dorrance.

He added that one of the focuses was the mental aspect of the game, and was one of the main improvements seen in the night.

The A's next stop will be Saskatoon over the weekend, participating in the Saskatoon Bantam AAA Wood-Bat Tournament. 16 teams from Western Canada will take part, and it will be the A's first time attending it.
