In what will be their only home game of the season played in Weyburn, the Southeast AAA Twins Baseball Club is doing their part in helping a family raise funds that will go towards a service dog.

Nathan Roemer was born with a genetic condition that causes behavioral issues, and according to his mother, the service dog will greatly improve Nathans quality of life. The dog, along with training and transitioning fees comes at the steep price of $30,000.

Head coach of the Twins, Blaine Kovach saw this as a great opportunity to help out. "I'm looking to get donations," Kovach said, "We'll be going around passing the hat, whatever we can do, and just take any amount of donation what the fans are willing to give for this great cause."

Nathan Roemer's parents were invited by Kovach to attend tonight's match up against the Regina White Sox. The game gets underway at 7.
