The Estevan Mermaids were at another synchro competition this past weekend. The 2019 Diane Lemon Invitational hosted by Regina Synchro and Synchro Saskatchewan on March 9 & 10 at the Lawson Aquatic Centre, Regina. The Annual Invitational Figure and Routine Meet is named in honour of Diane Lemon. Diane has done it all - a swimmer, coach, judge, administrator, and a parent of a synchronized swimmer. She was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.

On Saturday the Mermaids performed their figures and solos for the judges, the duet’s and team routines were swam on Sunday.

9/10 Solo Free - Sierra Mantei 2nd in Routine and 2nd in Championship

13/15 Solo Free - Rebecca Duncan 3rd in Routine and 3rd in Championship

13/15 Solo Free - Laura Swirski 6th in Routine and 7th in Championship 13/15

11/12 Duet Free - Sarah Greening & Rowyn Shier 4th in Routine and 4th in Championship
