Fresh off Sunday's win over Calgary, the Saskatchewan Roughriders swung a trade to acquire a national receiver on Monday.

The Riders sent a seventh-round pick in the 2019 CFL Draft to the Toronto Argonauts in exchange for Canadian wide receiver Brian Jones.

Jones was originally selected by the Argos with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 CFL Draft. The 24-year-old has collected 12 catches for 128 yards and one touchdown in 24 games over his first three seasons.

The Riders will return to practice coming up on Wednesday at Mosaic Stadium. They face the B.C. Lions on Saturday in Vancouver.
