The TS&M Bantam Bruins has a great weekend with a win on Friday and a tie on Saturday. Friday night the Bruins hosted the Weyburn Whitecap Wings. The game was a close battle between both teams, however, the Bruins had their A-game on and took the win, 4-3.

They then hosted the Prince Albert Venice House Pirates on Saturday and it was a tough game with no winner, it was a tie of 2-2.
The TS&M Bruins' coach, Blaine Chrest, "We struggled in the first two periods, we were a little sluggish, we thought. we didn't win the one on one battles and challenged the team to come out in the third period. The boys did come out and the did win the battles and managed to get a couple goals to make it a tie, so we are pleased with that."

The TS&N Bruins have a couple of home games coming up this weekend on Friday and Saturday.
"Every opponent that we play this year is going to be a tough team. I don't think there are many weak teams in the league. I certainly don't think the teams in the south that we play are going to be as rugged as the Prince Albert team, but we are a bigger team so we'll match up against that. It'll be a big test next Friday, Praire Storm is a very good hockey team. We'll have to match up against them to compete in the South."

The puck is set to drop at 8 pm on Friday when they play Prairie Storm Extreme Hockey at Affinity Place. On Saturday the TS&M Bruins will be back in Affinity Place, going up against Saskatoon Stallions at 4 pm.
