A busy weekend in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League saw the Estevan TS&M Bruins go 0-2-1.

Swift Current came out to a roaring start on Friday night against the Bruins taking an 11-3 victory. Adrien Riddel, Blayze Siebert and Kieran Stewart picked up goals in the loss.

On Saturday, the Bruins traveled to Regina to play a Monarchs team that head coach Tom Copeland expected to be a tough test. The Monarchs scored three goals in under one minute to open the period and never looked back as they would beat the Bruins 9-2. Tayce Miller and Mason Kukura found the back of the net in the Bruins loss.

The TS&M Bruins would return home on Sunday to play the Prairie Storm Extreme Hockey Lightning. Hunter Degelman put the Storm up 1-0 after the first period. Just 23 seconds into the second period, Turner McMillen would tie the game at 1-1 with assists coming from Adrien Riddell and Cade Bendtsen. The Storm would answer back minutes later with a goal from Tucker Buhay to go up 2-1. Tyson Dales would tie the game at 2-2 for the Bruins, on a goal from Mason Fichter and Clay McKersie. The game would finish knotted at 2-2 with no scoring in the third period.

The Bruins will now have 13 days off in between games with the Warman Wildcats up next on October 28th at Affinity Place.
