Another year of the Over-45 Twilite Masters baseball tournament is set to take place, and this time is being held at Mets Stadium, in Woodlawn Park.

8 teams from around the province will come to the Energy City, with players of all skill levels, and all aged above 45.

"They don't have to play every inning, but everybody likes to bat, so they could be in their seventies, for sure," stated Joe Lingelbach, a member of the local team, the Estevan Drillers.

"It's all about older fellas becoming little boys again. It's the sound of a wood bat hitting a ball and the sound of the players encouraging and cheering for each other, and usually, there's some laughter involved too. Other than the possibility of injury, I think everyone has an absolute blast playing baseball."

While the Drillers don't have a dominating record, they hold their own and normally finish with some sort of split. The first game gets underway Friday morning at 8:00, as Estevan takes on a team from Kipling.
